22 | Are You Making These 3 Common Mistakes? They Might Be Why You Can't Lose Weight After 40

Are you trying really hard to lose weight—harder than ever actually—but the weight keeps piling on since you hit your 40s? You’re not alone; this is a common problem for so many of us. In today’s episode, I’m going to share the 3 common mistakes you may be making that are causing you to put on weight and how to correct them.

I’ve mentioned in past episodes that at 45, I gained 10 lbs overnight, and I believe I was causing myself more problems that were contributing to my weight gain. It’s all about stress. As soon as I learned about female hormones and how they impact our cortisol levels and, in turn, our metabolism, I quickly made the shift and changed the things that were causing subtle stress on my body. This not only helped with weight loss but also reduced anxiety and boosted my energy.
